Frequently Asked Questions

The questions generators and buyers ask most — answered straight, including the ones about what we don't do.

Do you handle hazardous waste, e-waste and used oil?

Yes — collection, sealed transport, documentation and channelisation to recyclers, re-refiners or TSDFs holding the relevant CPCB authorisation, with the recycling certificate returned to you. GHBPL's own CPCB authorisation applications for these categories are in process; until granted, each regulated load moves under an authorised handler's registration. See Services.

How is my scrap priced?

Category by category, not as one blended rate for a mixed load. A mixed ferrous load, for example, may hold turnings, sheet cuttings and non-ferrous strays — each priced separately. The rate is confirmed in writing before the truck leaves your site.

Do you weigh material at my site or yours?

Either — whichever suits your process. What matters is that weighment is witnessed: your representative present, or a load sheet countersigned on site.

What documentation do I get for my EPR return or audit?

A signed load sheet on every lifting, a GST-compliant purchase invoice, and payment advice tied to that specific lifting — the same quantity trail an auditor or EPR reconciliation asks for.

Do you operate outside Uttar Pradesh?

Yes. Our registered office is in Karnawal, Sardhana, Meerut, with branch offices in Noida, Delhi and Bangalore, and lifting, logistics and trade coverage extending pan-India.

Is your recycled PET flake food-contact grade?

No — we do not hold food-grade approval and we don't represent it as such. It is sold by its actual grade, for non-food applications.

Can I import plastic waste through GHBPL?

Import of plastic waste into the Domestic Tariff Area is prohibited under the Hazardous and Other Wastes Rules, except into SEZ/EOU units for re-export. We work within that rule — see Services for what is actually possible on import and export.

How and when do I get paid?

Payment follows the date agreed at quotation, tracked in our ERP rather than left to a verbal understanding, with a payment advice against the specific lifting.

What is the minimum quantity you will lift?

It depends on material and distance — send your categories and rough monthly volume and we will tell you straight whether a standalone lifting makes sense or whether it is better combined with a nearby route.
